Sexual Orientation: He’s usually too concerned with being broke to have a sexuality.
Personality:
Ever since he met Gintoki, the neurotic and high-strung Shinpachi seems to spend most of his time freaking out, though considering the situation the Yorozuya often get into, it’s hard to blame him. With such a meek appearance, it comes as a surprise that he is actually a competent swordsman of his family's Kakid-Ryu, the swordsmanship style taught in the dojo he and his sister received after their father passed away. He cares deeply for her, and up until he met Gintoki and formed the Yorozuya Gin-chan(Odds Job Gin in the English version), which Kagura later joined, Shinpachi seemed to live soley for the dojo, which he refused to abandon despite being unable to make ends meet.
He seems to be the most down-to-earth of the group, and seemingly the only one that remembers that tey are, in fact, broke. Because even though Yorozuya Gin-chan is a business willing to take on almost any job for a fee, they seem to have little to no success with money.
